Warehouse Manager

Pertemps are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for a well-known brand based in Didcot, South Oxfordshire.

Warehouse Manager Duties:

– Manage the transition from in house warehouse operations to other third party partners.
– Oversee handover and support with training third party partners where required
– Develop strong relationships with 3PL partner to ensure clear communication and goal alignment
– Create reports on 3PL operational performance, inventory status and any discrepancies or issues.
– Monitor storage utilisation and inventory accuracy, ensuring alignment with business forecast
– Analyse operational trends and performance data to identify areas for enhancements or improvements
– Feedback analysis, storage plans and any other relevant information to internal stakeholders
– Oversee 3PL invoicing
– Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives
– Review service contracts and negotiate terms where necessary

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

– Experience leading teams in a logistical environment
– Experience managing 3PL contracts
– Excellent communication and relationship building skills
– Analytical skills with the ability to communicate data insights
– Willingness to be hands on with work
– DVLA issued driving licence

Warehouse Manager Package:

– Monday to Friday
– Salary up to 60,000, depending on experience
– 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
– Additional day off for your birthday
