Woodbridge, Suffolk
Chapel Properties

If you’re a skilled tradesperson who enjoys leading from the front, this role gives you the best of both worlds. You’ll run your own site day to day, work with a supportive team, and still get time on the tools. You’ll have real responsibility, variety in your work, and the chance to grow your career on quality residential projects.

What you’ll enjoy:

• A hands-on role where no two days are the same
• A mix of supervision and trade work (time on the tools as site activity allows)
• Autonomy to manage your site properly
• Working for a business that values quality, safety, and teamwork
• Modern site systems to make your job easier
• A friendly, supportive culture where your input matters
• Company van provided

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the main point of contact on site, making sure everything runs safely, smoothly, and to programme. From managing labour and subcontractors to ordering materials and keeping standards high, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects we can all be proud of.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Run and manage the site
• Keep Health & Safety front and centre
• Set labour to work and monitor progress
• Coordinate subcontractors and materials
• Keep the site clean, safe, and organised
• Use a tablet (Procore) for daily diaries, photos, and site records
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager to plan ahead and solve problems

What we’re looking for

• A solid, experienced tradesperson with residential site experience
• Some experience supervising labour (minimum 6 months)
• SSSTS and a trade qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Comfortable using basic IT and site apps
• Someone organised, calm under pressure, and good with people
• A team player who takes pride in their work

Live our Values and behaviours

• The ability to work within and adhere to our employee code of conduct
• Trust – We earn TRUST from each other and our customers with our competence, professionalism, honesty and integrity
• Respect – We RESPECT and care for our people promoting open communication and fostering a positive culture
• Achieve – We are passionate about what we ACHIEVE and deliver to our customers, striving for excellence and continuously improving.
• Team – We understand we are stronger together by holding each other accountable to ensure we all succeed. We think TEAM
• Pride – We feel a huge sense of PRIDE and satisfaction in delivering what the company stands for and how it operates.
